rdesktop – Open Source RDP Client

rdesktop is a free open source client for Microsoft Corp’s RDP protocol. It is to be mentioned that RDP Protocol is not open source but a Microsoft proprietary technology. Only the RDP client has been released under the terms of the open source GNU General Public Licence and hence is available free of cost. rdesktop has been tested successfully on various popular operating systems like Windows, OpenBSD and Linux. However, it doesn’t work on the MA OS X.
