Date January 21, 2009

The MAC’s Start Up sound can be music to your easrs. But if you are planning to start the machine in the dead of the night then it is definitely not a good idea to keep it on. It can wake up your entire neighborhood. In order to avoid this all you have to do is press the mute button on your keyboard before you shut down your machine. An alternative to this is to plug in ear phones. In case you forget to either of these there is a script available that you can run in your machine in order to start it up in a muted condition.
