Mono Development Platform

Mono is an open source development platform which is based on a Multi-platform .NET implementation of (C#) which is based on the ECMA and ISO standards. Mono Development Platform is released under the terms of the open source GNU General Public Licence and hence is available free of cost. Mono has been tested successfully to be run on various popular operating systems like UNIX, Linux, BSD, Sun Solaris, Mac OS X and the Windows operating system.
