MacLibre – Mother of all Mac Applications
September 15, 2008
I’ve used dozens of cool and interesting Mac applications. I’ve come across many more interesting and useful MAC applications which I haven’t yet got an opportunity to check out. The fact remains that there presently is a huge availability of applications for your MAC which could potentially make your life much more easier. However, if you are as lazy as I’am, you would probably find it tough to install and constantly update, patch bugs for these applications on a regular basis. This is where MacLibre comes in.
MacLibre is truly the mother of all open source MAC applications ever developed. What MacLibre does is, it installs a pack of cool and very useful open source applications (including many which I have covered on this blog) and more importantly keeps them updated for you on a constant basis. All you have to do is install MacLibre and forget about the supported list of open source applications. Isn’t this cool? Just in case you were wondering about the user friendliness aspect of MacLibre, believe me, it is extremely simple to install and use it. What are you waiting for! If you’ve not yet installed this application, go ahead right now and download MacLibre and start using it.
