FreeSWITCH – Open Source Communications Platform

FreeSWITCH is a free open source communications platform which is used to create voice driven chat products. FreeSWITCH has been released under the terms of the open source MPL (Mozilla Public Lience) free software license. The development of the FreeSWITCH project started in the month of January in the year 2006. FreeSWITCH can be used as a standalone application and can also be bundled with other applications which are compatible with FreeSWITCH. The standalone version of the software supports various operating systems like Windows, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, RHEL/CentOS GNU/Linux, Debian/Ubuntu GNU/Linux and Sun Solaris.
