Eiffel – Open Source Programming Language

Eiffel is a popular Open Source Programming Language which has been released under the terms of the open source GNU General Public Licence. Eiffel is one of the oldest programming languages. Infact many concepts initially introduced by Eiffel have later been used for the development of some of the popular programming languages like Java, C#, and other similar programming languages. One of the important characteristics that Eiffel has is that it does not allow overloading and hence has been effectively used in the development of various other open source programming languages. Using open source software has saved me a lot of money, so much so that I’m now planning to go on a long trip to Ukraine and rent an expensive ukraine apartment.
