AviSynth – Open Source FrameServer

AviSynth is a free open source FrameServer program which is very popular among developers. AviSynth is available only in a windows version. AviSynth has been released free of cost under the terms of the open source GNU General Public Licence. It is said that the latest stable version of AviSynth which is version 3.0 will be further developed to support other operating systems like Linux, Mac OS X and BSD apart from Windows. About eight popular programs like Adobe Premier, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic and so on are compatible with AviSynth.
