Adium IM Client for MAC OS X

I’ve already covered Pidgin which is a popular Internet messaging client for MAC OS. I found one more similar application called Adium which just like the Pidgin IM client provides multi IM user support. The Adium IM Client can be used to chat simultaneously with all your friends on AIM, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Jabber, Skype and so on. The striking feature of Adium IM Client is the beautiful themeable interface that it provides which is no match for the lousy interface provided by Pidgin. Infact many Adium users have gone ahead and boldly claimed that it is indeed the best multi network IM client ever developed.

I have both pidgin and adium installed in my MAC and have found that both are unique in their own ways. But nowadays I’ve started liking Adium more and I now use it everyday and cannot really get by without it. But don’t take my word for it. Check out Adium and Pidgin and use whichever works better for you. Both of them are open source softwares anyway. So no harm in checking them out, right!
